Fundraising Events

Raising funds for Pre-school is vitally important. Events are organised to pay for extra equipment, toys, books, computers and additional expenditure incurred by the pre-school.  Large purchases or changes to the room are paid by grant funding where it can be sourced. In order to raise as much money as we can, a Sub-committee is formed to meet however often it decides is necessary to organise our our fundraising events.

Any help during an event is greatly appreciated and if you feel that you could contribute in anyway then please let a committee member know.  The fundraising committee hope to continue to organise events that we can all enjoy and that will ultimately raise funds for those things that other grants do not allow for.  If anyone has any suggestions for future events, we would love to hear from you.  We hope to be able to count on your support.

Funds raised so far this year have been used to purchase playmobile toys and building kits, a laptop computer for the staff to use, and have enabled us to purchase the awning that you see out the front of the building.  Through further fundraising we hope to make good the sand pit which is in rather a sorry state and to replace the story time carpet and to provide better storage for all the pre-school equipment.
